History Killer Pro is an easy-to-use program that helps users maintain their privacy online and off. By scanning for and permanently deleting a wide variety of potentially sensitive files, the program ensures that private information stays private.

The program's interface is quite sleek and intuitive, with its major functions divided into tabs. The most important of these is the Targets tab; this is where users select the files that they want History Killer Pro to scan. These are helpfully divided into different sections depending on the type of application the files are associated with; there are headings for Windows System files, a variety of different Web browsers, Windows Accessories, Microsoft Office, and so on. When the program scans the user's computer it returns a list with the number of files, showing, for example, temporary files, Recycle Bin items, cookies, Registry values, and more. Clicking on each of these allows users to view a detailed list of the detected files, which can then be selected or deselected for deletion. We liked that the program makes it easy to customize both what is scanned and what is deleted, but as with all such programs, users will want to be careful not to delete files that they actually need. To its credit, the program's built-in Help file goes into quite a bit of detail about each file type, allowing users to make informed decisions about how to handle file deletions.

History Killer Pro is free to try, but the trial version will only scan files; it will not delete them. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

I want to thank you for the quick response to my problem and to thank you for the suggestion. About the 14 day free trial. I do think the program is well worth the money,hopefully I will be able to take advantage of it at that time.

Thank you for this. :) It turned out that I did not need 15 days to evaluate the program. Fifteen minutes is all that it took. I immediately went on line and bought it. Now I’m waiting on the e-mail that will allow me to get the licensed version. Thanks again!

Installed on Vista 64bit just fine. This program is much better than the free ones listed up there. Glarys and Advanced system care are the only ones worth anything listed up there and this programs devastates them.
I couldnt believe the amount of trash that I had on my browser (FF) that those two I listed didn’t get,plus I use iolo system mechanic.
I’m not impressed very often, but this did it. I guess to use at work it would be worth the cash, so the boss cant see what you’ve been doing, but then you’d have to hide the program so the boss doesnt figure out what you did.

I pass on somethings and then install and uninstall a bunch. This on the otherhand seems to be a great addition to my security issues. Even over system mechanic pro. Throw out the trash.. Installed and ran without any glitches what soever on XP and as for speed. I ran it twice before I realized it had already done it’s thing..WOW! get this one guys.thanks EMERGENCY SOFT..this is a keeper.

I'm not exactly sure the difference of job would be between this and CCleaner. Unless this goes more in depth, and COMPLETELY removes all history from the harddrive.

Very nice cleaning tool; clears more out of FF than CCleaner. Can’t tell about IE, I don’t use it. Trouble free install and has many user options. Thanks again for a nice product from an insightful resource.

“History Killer Pro” !!!!!! I have heard of this piece of software . Its a great stuff if you need privacy in your PC or Notebook. I have always been wanting to give this one a try. But i never had a chance to try out the PRO version. I have used this software guys and trust me this is a great piece of software. I would say that its even better than “CCleaner”.
