How can I remove information concerning a specific website (URL) from my PC?
History Killer Pro includes search function. Make total scan of your PC (select all targets), search the part of website address (if you want to remove information concerning www.facebook.com, you should search facebook.com) and History Killer Pro will find all references to the specified website that can removed securely with a single mouse click.

When I open some item, like “Temporary Files”, I find subfolders there. Can I see content of subfolders and delete sub-items selectively?
Yes. Just double-click on the folder and chose the sub-item to delete. Moreover, In Windows Explorer you cannot see the content of folders in Recycle Bin, however History Killer Pro grants you the access to those subfolders and files.

I entered the folder and found only two dots. What does it mean?
It means that the folder you entered is empty. Double click on dots to go a level up and get out of the folder.

What is Rescan button for?
Some items may be changed or increased while you are working with History Killer Pro, especially when you use other programs at the same time (e.g. MS Word or Excel).

When I enter the Items, History Killer Pro starts working. Why?
It happens in case you didn’t scan the items before. History Killer Pro automatically scans the item and shows the results/sub-items.

I want to clean the information relating to specific site, but search function doesn’t give any results.
Search function works with scanned items only. Just close your browser and select it in History Killer Pro (Internet Explorer, Firefox) and scan. Then search the information relating to you site.

If I delete one of the Recent files from MS Word item will that file be deleted from my computer?
No. History Killer Pro will delete only the information concerning that file, but not the file itself. In future when you open that file again, the information about it will become available as well.

I checked all items in Firefox menu to scan and kill, but there were several URLs remaining in autocomplete menu of the address bar after cleaning.
History Killer Pro protects your bookmarks from being deleted. Firefox is adding bookmarks’ URLs in autocomplete menu after loading.
Note: If there are compromising URLs in the autocomplete menu of Firefox, please remove them from bookmarks.

I scanned my hard drive with History Killer Pro, but "Kill Targets" function doesn't work. Why?
If "Kill Targets" function doesn't work, that means that your software is not registered. Simply register History Killer Pro and use all features of the product.
